The ASEAN Bahrain Council is an independent, private, non-political and non-profit association, regulated by Ministry of Social Development in Kingdom of Bahrain; established in September 2017.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

The idea of establishing the ASEAN Bahrain Council has been put forward since the establishment of the Bahrain-Malaysia Business and Friendship Society. The idea then evolved to include ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Cambodia).
The vision of the ASEAN Bahrain Council is to develop trade, economic, tourism and cultural relations, enhance mutual consultative relations for the benefit of the Kingdom of Bahrain and ASEAN countries, increase trade exchange, strengthen trade partnerships between Bahraini institutions and ASEAN countries.
On Sunday, 6th of March 2022 at 6:30 pm, Dinner Meeting between the ASEAN Bahrain Council and Indonesia Embassy developing business, opportunities between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Indonesia.
On Monday, 21st of February 2022, His Excellency Ambassador Shazryll Zahiran, Malaysian Ambassador for the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the ASEAN Bahrain Council Board members to his residence.
February 2022 a meeting held between the ASEAN Bahrain Council and Malaysia Embassy to review status of developments for discussed ideas and projects.
On Thursday, 18th of November 2021, Ms. Feryal Nass, ASEAN Bahrain Council Vice Chairwoman organized a High Tea Session with His Excellency Ambassador Chow Ming Wong, Singapore Ambassador at Ms. Feryal Nass residence.
On Wednesday, 13th of October 2021 at 6:30 pm, The ASEAN Bahrain Council organized and hosted a Dinner Meeting with the Malaysia Embassy at Nabeel Ajoor residence.
On Wednesday, 1st of September 2021 at 5:30 pm, The ASEAN Bahrain Council organized and hosted a Welcome Dinner Meeting with the new Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain His Excellency Shazryll Zahiran at H.E. Shaikh Daij Bin Isa AlKhalifa residence.
On Sunday, 22nd of August 2021 at 5:30 pm, The ASEAN Bahrain Council organized and hosted a Dinner Meeting at H.E. Shaikh Daij Bin Isa AlKhalifa residence in honor of a high-level delegation from Vietnam Ms. Huyen Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Mission.
